
Professional Specialities: As Director and Founder of originally ETLA and now EDLA, Eleanor specialises in strategic landscape planning and advice and finding creative responses to complex landscapes.
Recent projects: Eleanor has oversight of all EDLA’s landscape planning projects and strategic schemes in complex landscapes.
Motivation: Eleanor is professionally inspired by the storytelling through the landscape and creating places in which people and nature will thrive. She supports workshops and programmes, inspiring young people to pursue careers in our profession. She speaks regularly on panels and roundtables about Biodiversity Net Gain and incorporating this fundamental legislation into practice.
Qualifications: BA (Hons) Architecture, MA Landscape Architecture from the University of Greenwich, Chartered Member Landscape Institute (CMLI), and is a Sessional Tutor at the University for the Creative Arts. She is also a Member of the Southeast Design Review Panel. Eleanor is also an experienced landscape witness.
